Food

We work with wider partners to develop sustainable solutions to food insecurity. In 2018/19 we worked with food suppliers to divert as much high quality surplus food destined for landfill and redesign it into nutritious, healthy meals delivered into the heart of communities in need. Alongside this, we also deliver our Eat And Train (EAT) programme, addressing the lack of cookery skills now demonstrated across generations, teaching people of all ages (9yrs to 80+yrs) how to prepare healthy and aspirational meals for everyone in their family to enjoy.

On The Road

Centrestage ‘On The Road’ brings a taste of Centrestage to communities across Ayrshire and creates an environment for people to come together for creative and social activities whilst also benefiting from wider welfare advice and support with food provision for individuals and families in need.

Our Dignified Food Provision model has been developed since 2014 through our partnership with STV Children’s Appeal, The Hunter Foundation and Scottish Government and has provided a dignified alternative to foodbanks for folks across Ayrshire experiencing food insecurity.

Café / Bar

Our Cafe / Bar sits at the heart of our Centrestage community where visitors, customer and staff enjoy our food and inspiring atmosphere. From a delicious breakfast roll, light lunch offering to one of our signature dinner dishes - we have something for everyone to relish and enjoy.

All food sold within our Cafe / Bar is produced in house and sourced from the best of Scottish suppliers. What’s also important to share is that when you join us, all monies are returned into our community of projects supporting our overall vision and fundamentally making a difference.

Keep your eyes peeled for themed nights and special offers during productions, ensuring our new look Cafe / Bar forms a key part of your matinee, evening pre-and post-performance. Fully licensed you can enjoy a refreshing glass of our house wine, or if lager is more for you, enjoy one from our varied international selection.

Our Cafe / Bar is opened for everyone to enjoy and we very much look forward to you paying us a visit sometime soon, where a very warm Centrestage welcome awaits.
