‘Once upon a time there was a piece of wood’.

Carpenter Geppetto has always wished for a son. When the Blue Fairy grants his wish and brings his wooden puppet Pinocchio to life, Geppetto gets more than he bargained for. You see, Pinocchio is selfish. He seems to be incapable of staying out of trouble and hurting everyone around him, despite the efforts of Jiminy Cricket, his assigned conscience. Can the wooden boy be taught to put others before himself?
