We first opened our doors in 2006 and since then we have come a long way, driven by our vision, ‘To create future communities of purpose by breaking down barriers, unlocking potential, developing strengths, promoting inclusion and shaping journeys across our Centrestage family.’

We're now in 2018 and a very Happy New Year from everyone at Centrestage! We have so much planned for the year ahead and what a great time to get involved. Let Centrestage help with your New Year's resolution and come along to one of our classes, open to everyone regardless of experience or abilities. Our exciting 2018 program has something for everyone, including Dance, Technical Theatre to Acting, plus loads more.

We are a registered Scottish Charity that firmly believes in having fun by playing to our strengths. We all need some fun at times to help us escape the daily routines and challenges. From our Centrestage Creative Learning activities to our Centrestage Productions, there is so much fun to be had with us across our projects. We now welcome over 2,500 participants across our projects and activities each week.

At Centrestage, food is a key part of our offering and our Café/ Bar is ready and waiting for you to visit and enjoy our varied menu, from breakfast to lunch. Why not catch up with family or friends for a tea or coffee or join us for a light refreshment pre-or post-production. Centrestage ‘On the road’ also supports our food provision and our Centrestage ‘On the road’ bus is present throughout various locations around Ayrshire each week.

Passionate about folk, we champion opportunities for everyone - regardless of age, background or experience. Everybody can gain life changing social benefits through active participation in the arts, particularly music, drama and dance. We have so many classes from Aspire, Musical Generations, Gie it Laldy to our wonderful Gospel and Soul Choir - something for everyone.

At Centrestage we are all about #funfoodfolk and this underpins everything we do across our community of projects. Most importantly, all our members are valued as individuals. We all have a story to tell. Together, we can create a community of energy, potential, support and belief. To help build an energetic and inclusive society is our greatest aspiration.
