1. Terms and Conditions

1.1 By opting to purchase, reserve or allocate ticket(s) to a performance/ event, you automatically agree to our terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any of the below clauses or risk allocations mentioned, please do not proceed to purchase your ticket(s) for the performance/ event.


2. Ticket Purchase

2.1 Your contract for the purchase of ticket(s) is formed as soon as CentreStage has processed payment and will expire immediately after the performance/ event for which you purchased ticket(s). Any purchases are subject to payment card verification and other security checks and your transaction may be cancelled if it has not passed CentreStage’s verification processes.

2.2 The event service of the purchased ticket(s) will be deemed to have been delivered in its entirety as soon as the performance/ event starts on the advertised time. From that point on, no refund requests can be considered.

2.3 Ticket purchases for performances/ events are made of your own free will. As such, you do not have the right to initiate a chargeback claim or dispute on the provider of the credit card/ debit card that had been used for the transaction. 

2.4 CentreStage reserves the right to make alterations to the published performance/ event programme where reasonably necessary and without advance notice.

2.5 A ticket is only valid when purchased from CentreStage or an agent authorised by CentreStage. CentreStage is not responsible for any ticket(s) purchased through unauthorised methods.

2.6 Age guidance for performances/ events can be found on the CentreStage’s website and these should be consulted, or an enquiry made to CentreStage before ticket(s) are purchased. If you would like to know more about material featured in a performance/ event that may cause distress, please contact CentreStage before purchasing ticket(s).

2.7 If you have any special requirements or concerns about any special effects which may be featured at the performance/ event, prior notice should be provided when ordering ticket(s). Special effects may include, without limitation, sound, gunshots, audio visual, pyrotechnic and smoke effects or lighting and strobe effects. Signs will be displayed Front-of-House to warn audience members about strobe lighting, smoke effects and gunshots.

2.8 The price of the ticket shall be the price set at the time CentreStage accepts your order. All prices set are inclusive of any applicable taxes, booking and collection fees but exclusive of delivery fees.

2.9 CentreStage reserves the right to sell ticket(s) at different prices at different times and on different dates as availability for a performance/ event changes.

2.10 All discounts and promotions are subject to availability and may be withdrawn without notice. All discounts and promotions are not valid in conjunction with any other offer or retrospectively. If drinks are offered as part of a promotion, unless otherwise stated they will be for house spirits, beers or wines. These cannot be substituted and can only be supplied to individuals who can prove that they are over 18 years old. Full conditions will be published with any advertised discounts and promotions.

2.11 There may be restrictions on the number of tickets any individual can order. Any such restriction shall be notified to you at the time of booking. CentreStage reserves the right to cancel tickets purchased in excess of this number, without prior notice unless the purchase of an excess was due to CentreStage’s error.

2.12 Ticket(s) may be sold subject to certain restrictions, such as restricted view. Any such restriction shall be displayed on the CentreStage’s website or otherwise notified to you before or at the time of booking. It is your responsibility to ensure that you read all notifications displayed on the website.

2.13 Concessionary rates are available for those over the age of 65, under the age of 16, students and registered carers. Proof of identity and concession entitlement may be required to gain admission.


3. Refunds, Exchanges and Cancellations

3.1 Refunds will not be offered for the purchase of ticket(s) unless the performance/ event is cancelled or rescheduled.

3.2 At CentreStage’s discretion and subject to availability, an exchange of the purchased ticket(s) to a performance/event of equal or less value will be offered. 

3.3 If a performance/event has sold out and you no longer wish to use your ticket(s), at CentreStage’s discretion, CentreStage will attempt to resell your ticket(s). In such event, CentreStage makes no guarantee that your ticket(s) will be resold. If CentreStage does resell your ticket(s), the full cost of the ticket(s) will be paid to you using your original payment method, not including the value of any booking or delivery fees.

3.4 Void ticket(s) are non-refundable.

3.5 CentreStage may cancel or abandon the performance/event for reasons beyond its control without notice and without being liable to pay any person compensation or damage other than, at CentreStage’s discretion, a possible percentage or maximum refund to the ticket holder of the value of the ticket.

3.6 If you are not able to access any section(s) of the venue due to delays, government regulations, organiser policies, weather-related problems, emergencies, venue shutdown/ evacuation or any other reason, you will not be eligible for any refunds or future credits.

3.7 It is your responsibility to establish whether a performance/ event has been cancelled or rescheduled and the date and time of any rescheduled performance/ event. Where a performance/ event is cancelled or rescheduled, CentreStage will use its reasonable endeavours to notify you using the details you provided CentreStage with at the time of ordering. CentreStage does not guarantee that you will be informed of such cancellation before the date of the performance/ event.

3.8 It is your responsibility to inform CentreStage of any change to the contact address, telephone number or email address you provide CentreStage with at the time of ordering.

3.9 CentreStage does not generally carry understudies for in-house theatrical productions and so it may be necessary to cancel a performance/ event at short notice due to cast indisposition.


4. Event Attendance

4.1 A valid ticket must be presented to gain access to any performance/ event.

4.2 CentreStage reserves the right to refuse access to latecomers unless there is an interval in the performance/ event.

4.3 CentreStage reserves the right to provide alternative seats at a performance/event to those specified on the ticket(s) if the staging of the performance/ event reasonably requires, provided the alternative seats are of no less value to that stated on the ticket(s). 

4.4 CentreStage reserves the right to refuse entry to the premises due to use of any camera or any form of audio or visual recording equipment.

4.5 By attending a performance/ event, ticket holders’ consent to filming and sound recording of themselves as members of the audience. CentreStage may use such films and recordings (including any copies) without payment. 

4.6 Mobile telephones and messaging equipment must be switched off during the performance/ event unless you are informed otherwise. Watches and any other portable electrical devices must be silenced before entering an auditorium.

4.7 CentreStage does not take any responsibility for personal/ financial damages caused to you at the venue, or for any items lost/ stolen/ misplaced at the venue. Financial reimbursement claims on these counts will not be considered.

4.8 Food and beverages will be available during the performance/ event. You are not permitted to bring food or drink to a performance/ event and can only consume food and/ or beverages that are purchased from our vendors, excluding sealed plastic water bottles or reusable water containers. Any food or beverages brought to the performance/ event that has not been purchased from our vendors will be politely confiscated and destroyed by staff.

4.9 Alcohol purchased at the venue may only be consumed in public bars, the auditorium, and other authorised areas.

4.10 Smoking is not permitted unless within a designated smoking area (if any).

4.11 CentreStage follows a zero-tolerance policy towards unauthorised drug usage or carrying at the venue, and towards any type of behaviour/ actions that can be interpreted as lewd or obscene. If you are found in possession of prohibited items at the performance/ event and/ or if you indulge in any objectionable action, your participation in the event will be terminated immediately. Your event ticket(s) will become void from that point on.


5. Babes in Arms

5.1 CentreStage operates a Babes in Arms Policy. Infants under the age of two will not be charged and will be expected to sit on the parent or guardian’s lap. Children over the age of two require a seat and therefore a paid ticket.

5.2 Should the babe in arms become restless and cause a disturbance, the parent or guardian may be requested to leave the auditorium with the child. We reserve the right to not re-admit.


6. Liability

6.1 The bearer assumes full responsibility of performance/ event ticket(s) once purchased. CentreStage has no liabilities – financial, legal or otherwise – in case the purchased ticket(s) are stolen, lost, damaged, destroyed or rendered unusable in any other way.

6.2 Any ticket(s) delivered to you cannot be used for illegal reselling, copying, reproducing, or misrepresenting in any form. 

6.3 Any ticket(s) delivered to you cannot be used for any promotional, advertising, sweepstakes or competitions without our prior approval. Any proven record of such activities will result in immediate seizure and cancellation of your ticket(s).

6.4 CentreStage has the right to investigate if there has been any violation of our ticketing terms and conditions. In case of any conflicts, the decision of CentreStage will be deemed final. In case a dispute cannot be resolved, the help of an independent third-party arbiter will be sought.

6.5 By purchasing performance/event ticket(s) and presenting the same at the venue, you give your consent to CentreStage to collect certain information about yourself (name, picture, date of birth, gender, address, etc.) for verification and storage.


7. Dispute Resolution

7.1 If any dispute arises out of these Terms & Conditions or you have any other complaint, details of the dispute or complaint should be sent by post to CentreStage or by email to info@centrestagemt.org.uk. Full details of the complaint, the preferred method of contact, any information regarding any previous attempt to resolve this matter, and the preferred solution should be included.

7.2 CentreStage will acknowledge any complaint as soon as possible, giving an indication of how long is needed to investigate the matter. CentreStage aims to provide this acknowledgement within a maximum of 2 days and a full response within 20 days. CentreStage may need to contact the person raising the complaint for further details or to investigate further. 

7.3 At the end of our investigations, CentreStage will confirm the outcome of the complaint in writing. This will include further details of who to write to if the outcome is not considered to be satisfactory. If no response is received within 7 days of sending the confirmation, CentreStage will assume that the issue is resolved.

2. Class Purchase

2.1   Your contract for the purchase of class place(s) is formed as soon as CentreStage has processed the booking and will expire immediately after the final class for which you purchased your place(s) for. When a subscription booking is made, unless you terminate your class place(s) in line with these policies then this contract will extend to the end of the curriculum year.

2.2  Any purchases are subject to payment card verification and other security checks and your transaction may be cancelled if it has not passed CentreStage’s verification processes.

2.3  The event service of the purchased place(s) will be deemed to have been delivered in its entirety as soon as the class starts on the advertised time. From that point on, refunds will only be considered at CentreStage's discretion.

2.4  Purchases for classes are made on your own free will. As such, you do not have the right to initiate a chargeback claim or dispute on the provider of the credit card/ debit card that had been used for the transaction.

2.5  A class place is sold on a first come, first served basis unless specified by the organisation. A class place can only be guaranteed by a creating a subscription, payment will be taken regardless of attendance.

2.6  Walk-up classes are collected by debit/ credit card at time of booking.

2.7  All payments can take up to 5 working days from your class purchase date to process.

2.8  If any subscription payment is returned unpaid or if any other form of payment is not honoured for whatever reason, you will be contacted to arrange payment of any missing instalment(s). If an instalment remains unpaid after notification is given to you; we reserve the right to either suspend or terminate your class booking(s), upon having given you written notice of our intention to do so.

2.9  If, despite us having notified you of a missed payment, further payments are missed, we reserve the right to either suspend or terminate your class booking(s), upon having given you written notice of our intention to do so.

2.10 On occasion CentreStage may need to increase the price of your class. We will give you at least 1 full months' notice of any incoming price increase and will make it very clear when the price increase will take effect and how much your class will cost after the increase. During this period, you have the right to terminate your class. If you do not terminate your class place(s) by the date given to you in the notice, then the price of your class place(s) will be increased in accordance with our notice.

2.11 Additional fees may be charged if you change your class during a curriculum year.

2.12 CentreStage reserves the right to make alterations to the published class programme where reasonably necessary and without advance notice.

2.13 A place is only valid when purchased from CentreStage or an agent authorised by CentreStage. CentreStage is not responsible for any place(s) that have been purchased through unauthorised methods.

CentreStage reserves the right to cancel place(s) purchased in excess of this number, without prior notice unless the purchase of an excess was due to CentreStage’s error.

2.19 Class trials are offered for our junior classes which will be offered for one free session. This session will cover any class within one activity category i.e., Musical Theatre, Dance Theatre, Acting, etc. Any further sessions will be offered at the standard CentreStage class fee.


3. Refunds, Exchanges and Cancellations

3.1   Refunds will not be offered for the purchase of a class unless the class is cancelled or rescheduled.

3.2  At CentreStage’s discretion and subject to availability, an exchange of the class place(s) to a class of equal or less value can be offered.

3.3  Payments will be returned if a class has to be cancelled due to minimum numbers not being achieved.

3.4  You may terminate your class place at any point by contacting CentreStage on info@centrestagemt.org.uk to cancel your order. At the point of cancellation notification has been received, your booking will become void and your place will be removed. To reattend the class a new booking must be processed. However, CentreStage reserve the right to offer this place to others for resale.

3.5  CentreStage may cancel or abandon the class for reasons beyond its control without notice and without being liable to pay any person compensation or damage other than, at CentreStage’s discretion, a possible percentage or maximum refund to the class place(s) holder of the value of the place(s)

3.6  If you are not able to access any section(s) of the venue due to delays, government regulations, organiser policies, weather-related problems, emergencies, venue shutdown/ evacuation or any other reason, you will not be eligible for any refunds or future credits.

3.7  It is your responsibility to ensure whether a class has been cancelled or rescheduled and the date and time of any rescheduled class. Where a class is cancelled or rescheduled, CentreStage will use its reasonable endeavours to notify you using the details you provided CentreStage with at the time of ordering. CentreStage does not guarantee that you will be informed of such cancellation before the date of the class.

3.8  It is your responsibility to inform CentreStage of any change to the contact address, telephone number or email address you provide CentreStage with at the time of ordering.

3.9  CentreStage does not generally carry high staffing cover for a class and so it may be necessary to cancel a class at short notice due to staff indisposition.


4. Class Attendance

4.1   A valid booking confirmation will create an entry in the class register for attendance purposes. In the event where your booking does not create an entry to a register, your booking confirmation must be presented to gain access to any class.

4.2  CentreStage reserves the right to refuse entry to the premises due to use of any camera or any form of audio or visual recording equipment.

4.3 Mobile telephones and messaging equipment must be switched to silent during the class unless you are informed otherwise. Watches and any other portable electrical devices must be silenced before entering the class.

4.4  Participants under the age of 16 must wear a CentreStage t-shirt whilst attending any class to ensure they are recognisable by our staff. If specific clothing is required for your class, this will be highlighted at the point of booking.

4.5  You must refrain from bringing your child to class if they have had any form of illness within 48 hours of the class.

4.6  CentreStage reserve the right to remove from our classes, without refund, anyone who is found to be bullying, misbehaving or displaying disruptive behaviour.

4.7  CentreStage or any of their staff are not responsible for any loss or injury during the class.

4.8  CentreStage does not take any responsibility for personal/ financial damages caused to you at the venue, or for any items lost/ stolen/ misplaced at the venue. Financial reimbursement claims on these counts will not be considered.

4.9 You must declare all medical conditions during registration and keep us up-to-date should this change by emailing/calling us at info@centrestagemt.org.uk

4.10 Smoking/vaping is not permitted unless within a designated smoking area (if any).

5.1 CentreStage operates a Babes in Arms Policy. Infants under the age of two will not be charged and will be expected to sit on the parent or guardian’s lap. Children over the age of two require a seat and therefore a paid ticket.

5.2 Should the babe in arms become restless and cause a disturbance, the parent or guardian may be requested to leave the auditorium with the child. We reserve the right to not re-admit.

6. Liability

6.1 The bearer assumes full responsibility of performance/ event ticket(s) once purchased. CentreStage has no liabilities – financial, legal or otherwise – in case the purchased ticket(s) are stolen, lost, damaged, destroyed or rendered unusable in any other way.

6.2 Any ticket(s) delivered to you cannot be used for illegal reselling, copying, reproducing, or misrepresenting in any form. 

6.3 Any ticket(s) delivered to you cannot be used for any promotional, advertising, sweepstakes or competitions without our prior approval. Any proven record of such activities will result in immediate seizure and cancellation of your ticket(s).

6.4 CentreStage has the right to investigate if there has been any violation of our ticketing terms and conditions. In case of any conflicts, the decision of CentreStage will be deemed final. In case a dispute cannot be resolved, the help of an independent third-party arbiter will be sought.

6.5 By purchasing performance/event ticket(s) and presenting the same at the venue, you give your consent to CentreStage to collect certain information about yourself (name, picture, date of birth, gender, address, etc.) for verification and storage.


7. Dispute Resolution

7.1 If any dispute arises out of these Terms & Conditions or you have any other complaint, details of the dispute or complaint should be sent by post to CentreStage or by email to info@centrestagemt.org.uk. Full details of the complaint, the preferred method of contact, any information regarding any previous attempt to resolve this matter, and the preferred solution should be included.

7.2 CentreStage will acknowledge any complaint as soon as possible, giving an indication of how long is needed to investigate the matter. CentreStage aims to provide this acknowledgement within a maximum of 2 days and a full response within 20 days. CentreStage may need to contact the person raising the complaint for further details or to investigate further. 

7.3 At the end of our investigations, CentreStage will confirm the outcome of the complaint in writing. This will include further details of who to write to if the outcome is not considered to be satisfactory. If no response is received within 7 days of sending the confirmation, CentreStage will assume that the issue is resolved.

1.1    By opting to purchase, reserve or allocate class place(s), you automatically agree to our terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any of the below clauses or risk allocations mentioned, please do not proceed to purchase your class place(s).


2. Class Purchase

2.1   Your contract for the purchase of class place(s) is formed as soon as CentreStage has processed the booking and will expire immediately after the final class for which you purchased your place(s) for. When a subscription booking is made, unless you terminate your class place(s) in line with these policies then this contract will extend to the end of the curriculum year.

2.2  Any purchases are subject to payment card verification and other security checks and your transaction may be cancelled if it has not passed CentreStage’s verification processes.

2.3  The event service of the purchased place(s) will be deemed to have been delivered in its entirety as soon as the class starts on the advertised time. From that point on, refunds will only be considered at CentreStage's discretion.

2.4  Purchases for classes are made on your own free will. As such, you do not have the right to initiate a chargeback claim or dispute on the provider of the credit card/ debit card that had been used for the transaction.

2.5  A class place is sold on a first come, first served basis unless specified by the organisation. A class place can only be guaranteed by a creating a subscription, payment will be taken regardless of attendance.

2.6  Walk-up classes are collected by debit/ credit card at time of booking.

2.7  All payments can take up to 5 working days from your class purchase date to process.

2.8  If any subscription payment is returned unpaid or if any other form of payment is not honoured for whatever reason, you will be contacted to arrange payment of any missing instalment(s). If an instalment remains unpaid after notification is given to you; we reserve the right to either suspend or terminate your class booking(s), upon having given you written notice of our intention to do so.

2.9  If, despite us having notified you of a missed payment, further payments are missed, we reserve the right to either suspend or terminate your class booking(s), upon having given you written notice of our intention to do so.

2.10 On occasion CentreStage may need to increase the price of your class. We will give you at least 1 full months' notice of any incoming price increase and will make it very clear when the price increase will take effect and how much your class will cost after the increase. During this period, you have the right to terminate your class. If you do not terminate your class place(s) by the date given to you in the notice, then the price of your class place(s) will be increased in accordance with our notice.

2.11 Additional fees may be charged if you change your class during a curriculum year.

2.12 CentreStage reserves the right to make alterations to the published class programme where reasonably necessary and without advance notice.

2.13 A place is only valid when purchased from CentreStage or an agent authorised by CentreStage. CentreStage is not responsible for any place(s) that have been purchased through unauthorised methods.

2.14 Age guidance for classes can be found on the CentreStage’s website and these should be consulted, or an enquiry made to CentreStage before place(s) are purchased. If you would like to know more about material featured in a class, please contact CentreStage before purchasing.

2.15 The price of a class shall be the price set at the time CentreStage accepts your order. All prices set are inclusive of any applicable taxes, booking and collection fees.

2.16 CentreStage reserves the right to sell class place(s) at different prices at different times and on different dates as availability of class place(s) change.

2.17 All discounts and promotions are subject to availability and may be withdrawn without notice. All discounts and promotions are not valid in conjunction with any other offer or retrospectively. Full conditions will be published with any advertised discounts and promotions.

2.18 There may be restrictions on the number of class place(s) any individual can order. Any such restriction shall be notified to you at the time of booking. CentreStage reserves the right to cancel place(s) purchased in excess of this number, without prior notice unless the purchase of an excess was due to CentreStage’s error.

2.19 Class trials are offered for our junior classes which will be offered for one free session. This session will cover any class within one activity category i.e., Musical Theatre, Dance Theatre, Acting, etc. Any further sessions will be offered at the standard CentreStage class fee.


3. Refunds, Exchanges and Cancellations

3.1   Refunds will not be offered for the purchase of a class unless the class is cancelled or rescheduled.

3.2  At CentreStage’s discretion and subject to availability, an exchange of the class place(s) to a class of equal or less value can be offered.

3.3  Payments will be returned if a class has to be cancelled due to minimum numbers not being achieved.

3.4  You may terminate your class place at any point by contacting CentreStage on info@centrestagemt.org.uk to cancel your order. At the point of cancellation notification has been received, your booking will become void and your place will be removed. To reattend the class a new booking must be processed. However, CentreStage reserve the right to offer this place to others for resale.

3.5  CentreStage may cancel or abandon the class for reasons beyond its control without notice and without being liable to pay any person compensation or damage other than, at CentreStage’s discretion, a possible percentage or maximum refund to the class place(s) holder of the value of the place(s)

3.6  If you are not able to access any section(s) of the venue due to delays, government regulations, organiser policies, weather-related problems, emergencies, venue shutdown/ evacuation or any other reason, you will not be eligible for any refunds or future credits.

3.7  It is your responsibility to ensure whether a class has been cancelled or rescheduled and the date and time of any rescheduled class. Where a class is cancelled or rescheduled, CentreStage will use its reasonable endeavours to notify you using the details you provided CentreStage with at the time of ordering. CentreStage does not guarantee that you will be informed of such cancellation before the date of the class.

3.8  It is your responsibility to inform CentreStage of any change to the contact address, telephone number or email address you provide CentreStage with at the time of ordering.

3.9  CentreStage does not generally carry high staffing cover for a class and so it may be necessary to cancel a class at short notice due to staff indisposition.


4. Class Attendance

4.1   A valid booking confirmation will create an entry in the class register for attendance purposes. In the event where your booking does not create an entry to a register, your booking confirmation must be presented to gain access to any class.

4.2  CentreStage reserves the right to refuse entry to the premises due to use of any camera or any form of audio or visual recording equipment.

4.3 Mobile telephones and messaging equipment must be switched to silent during the class unless you are informed otherwise. Watches and any other portable electrical devices must be silenced before entering the class.

4.4  Participants under the age of 16 must wear a CentreStage t-shirt whilst attending any class to ensure they are recognisable by our staff. If specific clothing is required for your class, this will be highlighted at the point of booking.

4.5  You must refrain from bringing your child to class if they have had any form of illness within 48 hours of the class.

4.6  CentreStage reserve the right to remove from our classes, without refund, anyone who is found to be bullying, misbehaving or displaying disruptive behaviour.

4.7  CentreStage or any of their staff are not responsible for any loss or injury during the class.

4.8  CentreStage does not take any responsibility for personal/ financial damages caused to you at the venue, or for any items lost/ stolen/ misplaced at the venue. Financial reimbursement claims on these counts will not be considered.

4.9 You must declare all medical conditions during registration and keep us up-to-date should this change by emailing/calling us at info@centrestagemt.org.uk

4.10 Smoking/vaping is not permitted unless within a designated smoking area (if any).

4.11 Alcohol purchased at the venue may only be consumed in public bars, the auditorium and other authorised areas.

4.12 CentreStage follows a zero-tolerance policy towards unauthorised drug usage or carrying at the venue, and towards any type of behaviour/ actions that can be interpreted as lewd or obscene. If you are found in possession of prohibited items at the class and/ or if you indulge in any objectionable action, your participation in the class will be terminated immediately. Your class place(s) will become void from that point on.

4.13 Photography and videography is not permitted in classes without appropriate photo consent.
